Proponents of sustainable, comfortable small footprint living, Brenda Daughtery and Cece Reinhart, owners of the “On the Green Road” website, recently purchased and completely remodeled a 100 year old, 500 square foot cottage in Alameda, CA up near San Francisco.
Brenda and Cece opted to utilize the durable, transparent and space enhancing beauty of cable railings for their stairwell and are among the many successful do it yourself installers of San Diego Cable Railings quality products. This was our first tiny house cable railing project.

Well we did it and they look great! We passed our final inspection yesterday and will be moving in to our little house this weekend. The Cable Railings are definitely one of the focal design features of the house. We have published a couple of blog posts which I will share and of course we will be featured on Houzz TV.

Our cable railing looks like the pics below. We added our own redwood as the handrail!! We got the kit within 2-3 weeks (October 2015) already pre-cut and pre-drilled and ready for us to install. AWESOME!!
